A MacBook screen is a bonded Retina panel inside a lid assembly — there's no separate 'just the glass' layer like an iPhone. On many models we can replace just the LCD panel and reuse your working lid, hinges and cable, which is cheaper. If the lid is bent or the cable is damaged it needs a full display assembly. We check yours and quote both options up front.
Yes, where the model supports it and we use a genuine-grade display — TouchID and True Tone are preserved and calibrated before you collect. If board-level or Touch-ID-flex damage means it can't be restored, we'll tell you plainly first.
