Because cheap watch cells leak inside the case. We've opened too many movements destroyed by alkaline leakage from a $4 cell that 'saved' somebody $15 the year before. Sony, Maxell, Panasonic and Renata cost more because they don't do that. The right cell, every time.

Yes — Apple Watch battery starts at $99 (Series 4 onwards). Free diagnostic and quote up front. Note that any opened Apple Watch loses its original Apple-rated water-resistance.

For Rolex, Omega, Cartier and other 'haute horlogerie' — battery and band only. Full movement servicing we'll refer you to a specialised watchmaker. Quartz models from those houses we'll handle in-house.

For traditional watches we don't carry a strap or bracelet inventory — bring your own and we'll fit it on the spot, free with any service. For smartwatches it's the opposite: we hold a large Apple Watch band range (sport, woven, leather and link bracelets), plus common Galaxy Watch and Garmin straps. Sizing for any band done while you wait.

45 minutes on the bench. Genuine Panasonic or Maxell capacitor, installed and calibrated. Eco-Drive, Seiko Solar and Casio Tough Solar capacitors typically last 10–15 years before replacement is needed.

Often it's not. Apple Watch screen replacements run anywhere from $199 to $600 depending on the model — older Series sit at the low end, Apple Watch Ultra and current-gen sit at the high end. A refurbished or new unit can land in the same range, so on older Watches the maths can tip the other way. We also can't guarantee restoring the original factory seal once the case has been opened. Bring it in or give us a call — we'll look at the exact model and damage and give you an honest answer on whether to repair, replace or trade it in.

Yes — swollen cells are a fire risk. Don't keep wearing it, don't charge it, bring it in immediately. We handle swollen-battery jobs safely on the bench with proper containment. Free diagnostic; the replacement itself is a normal-priced job from $99.
