APPLE IPAD · EVERY MODEL · INSIDE & OUT

iPad cracked or dead? We fix all of it —
and tell you straight what goes in.

Cracked glass, a dead battery, a charging port that won’t hold, water damage — even the board-level faults most shops send away. And we’re straight about parts: Apple doesn’t sell most iPad screens or batteries new, so anyone promising you a ‘genuine’ one is stretching it. We fit OEM-spec glass or a refurbished assembly for the screen, a quality battery, and original small parts — and we tell you exactly which before we start. One bench, same-day where the part’s in stock.

EVERY IPAD REPAIR

If it’s an iPad, it’s on our bench.

Not just cracked screens. From a glass-only fix to a board that won’t boot, here’s the lot we take on — the small parts original, the screen and battery done with quality parts we’re honest about, and a straight answer before we start. Not sure what’s wrong? Bring it in, we’ll work it out for free.

Screen & glass

Cracked glass, dead touch, or lines across the screen. The glass is a separate layer from the LCD, so we glass-only where the LCD’s fine, or fit a refurbished assembly — OEM-spec glass either way.

Battery replacement

Dies by lunchtime, or swelling the screen off. A quality aftermarket cell — genuine iPad batteries aren’t sold retail, and we’re straight about that.

Battery repairs

Charging port

Charges at an angle, keeps dropping out, or nothing at all. USB-C or Lightning, matched to your model — and this one goes in original.

Cameras

Blurry, cracked, or a black preview. Front or rear camera replaced with an original part and tested before it goes back.

Buttons

Power or volume gone mushy, stuck, or dead. Replaced with original buttons so they click the way they should.

Speakers & audio

No sound, crackle, or one side gone quiet. Speakers cleaned or replaced and tested properly before it goes back.

Home button & Touch ID / Face ID

A dead home button, flaky Touch ID or Face ID. Where Touch ID is paired to the original button we keep that button in place — we’ll tell you plainly what can and can’t move.

Microphone

Callers can’t hear you, or recordings come out muffled. Mic replaced with an original part and checked across apps.

Bent frame & housing

A tablet that’s taken a knock and won’t sit flat, or a housing lifting at the edge. Reshaped or replaced so everything seals up again.

Liquid / water damage

A spill or a soaking. Power it off, don’t charge it — flat $65 assessment first.

Water damage

Won’t power on / board-level

Dead, no charge, or gone after a knock. Often one component on the board, not a write-off — more below.

iPadOS & software

Stuck on the logo, boot-looping, or won’t update. We find the cause before quoting a fix — and your data stays put where we can help it.

More than an iPad in the house? We fix every other tablet too, and everything else across phones, laptops and consoles.

STRAIGHT ABOUT PARTS · THE HONEST BIT

Straight about iPad parts.

Here’s the thing most shops won’t tell you: Apple doesn’t sell most iPad parts new. There’s no genuine iPad screen or battery on a shelf anywhere — so if someone’s advertising a ‘genuine iPad screen’, they’re stretching the truth. We don’t. We tell you exactly what’s going in.

The small parts go in original — charging ports, cameras, buttons, mics. The screen is OEM-spec glass or a refurbished assembly, and the battery a quality aftermarket cell. Genuine simply isn’t sold, so we don’t pretend it is.

It’s the whole point of bringing your iPad here: no ‘genuine’ claim we can’t back, and a straight answer on parts before we start. Get a quote

THE DIFFERENCE · BOARD-LEVEL REPAIR

We go to board level.

This is the bit that sends most shops running. When an iPad won’t turn on, won’t charge, or goes dead after a knock, the usual line is ‘it’s finished, buy a new one’. Often it isn’t — it’s one component on the board that’s given up.

A failed charge IC, a dropped power rail, a shorted line after a fall — we diagnose down to that part and replace it under the microscope. No power, no charge, dead after a drop: often fixable at the component, without swapping the whole board. And your data stays on the device.

A dead-looking iPad is usually one failed chip, not a write-off. And your files never leave the device.

Board-level work isn’t a same-day job — figure 1 to 3 days — and it’s no-fix-no-fee. If we can’t save it, you don’t pay for the attempt. Start a quote

THE SCREEN · TWO HONEST PATHS

Two ways to fix a cracked iPad screen.

Unlike a phone, an iPad’s touch glass — the digitizer — is a separate layer from the LCD underneath. That matters, because it gives you two honest options depending on what’s actually broken, and we’ll tell you which one you need before we start.

If only the glass is cracked and the LCD still works, we do a glass-only repair with high-quality OEM-spec glass and keep your good LCD — the cheaper path. If the LCD’s damaged too, or you want a full-assembly result, we fit a refurbished screen assembly rebuilt with the same OEM-spec glass. Genuine simply isn’t available, so both routes are OEM-spec quality.

Glass-only jobs can run to next-day, because the fresh bonding needs to cure and set properly — rush it and it lifts. Get a quote

SMALL PARTS · ORIGINAL EVERY TIME

The small parts? Original.

For all the honesty about screens and batteries, here’s the flip side: the small stuff goes in original, every time. Charging ports, cameras, buttons, microphones, flex cables — original parts, no exceptions. Screens and batteries are the only ones we can’t, and only because Apple doesn’t sell them.

  • Charging ports, cameras and buttons go in original — the way they left the factory, not a bargain-bin copy
  • Microphones and flex cables original too — the connective bits a cheap part gets wrong and leaves you chasing faults
  • Screens and batteries are the honest exception — OEM-spec glass or a refurbished assembly, and a quality cell, because Apple sells no genuine version

So when we say ‘original’, we mean the small parts — and when we can’t, we say so plainly. Get a quote

IPAD QUESTIONS

Straight answers.

Do you use genuine Apple parts?

Honest answer: for the small parts, yes — charging ports, cameras, buttons, microphones and flexes go in original. For screens and batteries, no, and here’s why: Apple doesn’t sell genuine iPad screens or batteries new, to anyone. So instead of a ‘genuine’ claim we can’t back, we fit high-quality OEM-spec glass or a refurbished assembly for the screen and a quality aftermarket battery — and we tell you exactly which before we start, never after.

What’s the difference between a glass-only repair and a full screen?

On an iPad the touch glass (the digitizer) is a separate layer from the LCD underneath, so there are two honest paths. If only the glass is cracked and the LCD still works, a glass-only repair fits new OEM-spec glass and keeps your good LCD — the cheaper option. If the LCD is damaged too, or you want a full-assembly result, we fit a refurbished screen assembly rebuilt with the same OEM-spec glass. We’ll tell you which one you actually need.

Is a cheap glass-only fix any good?

When the LCD underneath is genuinely fine, yes — a glass-only fix with quality OEM-spec glass, properly bonded, is the right call and saves you money. It’s not the answer for every iPad though: if the LCD is damaged, or the glass is shattered into the display, a refurbished assembly is the honest fix. We’ll look first and tell you straight which one your iPad needs, rather than selling you the dearer job by default.

What warranty do I get?

Every repair carries a minimum 90-day warranty on the part and our workmanship — longer on plenty of jobs. If something we fitted plays up in that window, bring it back and we’ll sort it. It’s all no-fix-no-fee too: if we can’t fix it, you don’t pay for the attempt.

My iPad got wet — what now?

Power it off, don’t charge it, and don’t try to dry it with heat — then get it to us. Liquid gets under components and keeps corroding, so the sooner it’s opened up and cleaned the better the odds. It starts with a flat $65 assessment. More on water damage.

Which iPads do you cover?

The lot — iPad Pro (11″ and 12.9″/13″), iPad Air, iPad mini, and the standard iPad, new models and older ones alike. Newer iPads are the quick ones; older ones take a bit longer. Not sure which you’ve got? Tell us and we’ll work it out.
