Water-resistance reseal
Any time an Apple Watch is opened, its seal has to be replaced. We reseal it properly after any repair — or on its own if a previous fix left it open.
Back sensor crystal
The crystal on the back — the heart-rate sensor window — cracked or lifting. Replaced and sealed so the sensors read and the case stays tight.
Won’t charge
There’s no charge port on an Apple Watch — it charges by an inductive puck — so ‘won’t charge’ is usually a battery or a board fault, not the cable. We find which.
Won’t power on / board-level
Dead, no charge, or gone after a knock. Often one component on the board — a charging IC or backlight line — not a write-off. More below.

We go to board level.
This is the bit that sends most shops running. When an Apple Watch won’t charge or won’t turn on, the usual line is ‘it’s finished’. Often it isn’t. Remember there’s no charge port on an Apple Watch — it charges by an inductive puck — so ‘won’t charge’ is usually a battery or a board fault, not the cable.
A failed charging IC, a backlight line that’s died, a rail shorted after a knock — we get it diagnosed to that component and repaired by our board-level specialists. No power, no charge, dead after a drop: often fixable at the chip, without writing the watch off.

The most common Apple Watch fault we see isn’t a crack — it’s the battery. As a Watch cell ages it can swell, and because everything inside is packed so tight, a swelling battery pushes the screen up and off the case. If your display is lifting at one edge or has popped loose, that’s almost always the battery underneath, not the adhesive letting go.
Caught early it’s a straightforward battery replacement — a fresh cell, the screen refitted, and the water-resistance reseal done properly so it’s sealed back up. Left too long, a swelling battery can crack the screen or strain the board, so it’s worth bringing in the moment you notice it.

Can you replace a cracked Apple Watch screen?
Yes — and it’s one of the jobs most shops send away.
